Wake The Line

Disciplined: WAKEBOARD & wakeskate
Wake The Line was a very popular and well-attended wakeboarding and wakeskating event. The event featured the world's best athletes, who challenged each other in a series of competitions, including Best Trick, Best Rail and the Best Kicker. What made it unique Wake The Line was its original setup: a series of obstacles, designed specifically for the event, were arranged along an artificial water channel, creating a unique race course.
The public that stood along the stands, among which many wakeboard enthusiasts and other extreme sports, could admire at close range some of the most spectacular and complex tricks ever seen, which were performed on the obstacles of the Wake The Line.
Wake The Line was also known for the energetic and fun atmosphere it offered, featuring live music performances, freestyle performances and more. Unfortunately, after the last edition, Wake The Line ceased operations and was not held again in subsequent years. The reason for this decision was not disclosed, but the event was one of the most important in the European wakeboarding world and inspired many other similar events around the world.
